The Bournemouth Foodbank provides emergency food for local people in need, offering essential nutritionally balanced emergency food, and support to local people in crisis. Being able to print and provide vouchers for food parcels to those most in need is core to the charity’s service, however the current printer system was failing them at their most important time of year. The Bournemouth Foodbank approached Collate to find a solution to their failing, old printer.
Deborah Bramley, Bournemouth Foodbank Project Director, said:
“Thank you Collate!!
Bournemouth Foodbank’s printer was so old and we were beginning to have issues with even printing out the vouchers to send to our referral agencies, enabling them to give local clients in crisis the form they need to receive a 3 day food parcel. As a small charity with not much money, we were looking around for the best deal possible. Collate came back to us with the best deal, however we couldn’t commit to the full terms of the contract and we sadly thought that that was the end of it. However Collate were incredible, they have bent over backwards to support us. They found a way of letting us have a printer that we can use. They came and installed it, took our old printer away, made sure our laptops were all connected. They have been incredibly friendly and professional. We can’t tell you how much this means to us.”
Collate provided a Konica Minolta Bizhub machine to the charity, and very much looking forward to continuing to support The Bournemouth Foodbank in the future. If you feel you can help support the charity, visit The Bournemouth Foodbank website for more details.
